New Work in Process 4' x 2' Acrylic on Masonite

One of the most favorite parts of my days are to just be in the studio immersed in my own world, free of the worlds stresses, losing myself in the thought processes of creativity.

The sub-conscious world emerging from the subtle hints of vision that have preceded each one of my paintings. Seeing only glimpses of color and or shape, sometimes weeks ahead and sometimes in the middle of the night. Only upon acting on that vision, does the life of a new painting come forth. I often wonder about those lost paintings from inaction. Are they lost in the sub-conscious world? Will they eventually come forth? Or have they morphed into another means of expression, a painting or my woodwork endeavors? Who knows, but the joy of creativity is such an awesome experience.

  1. We have here in France a painting called "Celebration of harvest" painted by Pretty Land Eagle. Are you the one who painted it? I'd like to follow his work.
    Thanks.
    Have a day.

    1. This is the one and only, now signing my work as just Land Eagle, long story. How are you doing? It has been a long time, since we have spoken and or visited.
